Yes, no, it's complicated with Sonos.$2000k for a Home theater setup isn't a lot when $50k+ exists.

You can actually build a traditional setup for less than this and quality would be much much better.

Ive heard Sonos sound bars sound great. I have samsung 11.1.4 and im happy. Best sound I've ever had. They retail 2k but I got it for 700 new thanks to slickdeals. But I had pioneer setup prior 5.1.2 and the sound was bigger at higher volumes but I never run it that high. So the sound bar fills the room more with lower volumes. I dont doubt if I had better speakers with more extra tweeters and subs in each channel and a $2k receiver to power it that it wouldn't blow the roof off in quality at extreme volumes. But im happy.
