This is a rather specialized item that has been out of stock for at least 6 months in the US. A keychron wired/bluetooth full sized keyboard for macs and windows, with hot swappable keys and a white backlit shine-thru keycaps. On ebay, it sold for 2x more than the current sale price. I have been waiting a long time for this to get back in stock. It comes in 2 types, red linear keys and brown tactile keys, but you can purchase many more types and install them yourself. Make sure you purchase the one ones that say hot swappable. Otherwise you are stuck with soldered on keys.

It is immensely customizable. I personally have changed to Gateron banana switches and replaced the keycaps with better white shine thru ones, but we are talking about fine tuning. The basic keyboard is amazing and it has real mac keycaps (command, option, ctrl).

Note: The one with the red keys are model K10-G1, and browns are K10-G3. The permanent key models are K10-A, so check to make sure you dont get those (shown under item details).

For those who care, the K10 (non pro) does not support Via, official or third party. And this has been for years. If you are into those things, the only choice is the pro version.

It's so lame that they paywall that. Typing on a Keychron keyboard right now btw.

Have a Keychron v3 Max ready to have switches and caps tossed onto it. Just recently fell into the mech keyboard rabbit hole, but I've only heard good things about Keychron. Only thing I'd also look into on top of whether via is supported is whether full keyboards are your thing. I've think I'm more so a TKL guy these days.

Good price, but heads up these don't appear to have 2.4ghz wireless, only bluetooth. If you don't care about laggy wake from sleep no problem, but it drives me crazy so I never use BT keyboards

Customer Service & Keyboard quality Comment....

I purchased a k2 max recently on sale with banana switches and was my first keychron ever..

I was quite excited for something new and "fancy" but turns out the one I got ended up with faulty key that double taps and or is unresponsive for no apparent reason even though I am wired connection..

I contacted support and been waiting over 2 weeks for some sort of confirmation if they can/will replace it and when... to be clear they have responded but havent given me any useful information other than "Please wait, Chinese holidays & new staff turnover"

---

Its been broken since day 1 and one might assume they would just simply replace it immediately given its brand new and im a first time customer.. but instead they been letting me sit on it...

Soooo.. customer service is not so great as far as I am concerned thus far..

Be patient. My replacement took 4 weeks. Helped that I started posting comments on their Facebook ads

Same here. I hate the lag. Also had issues with getting into older BIOS.
