So I'm no kcup user, but why couldn't you just use the kcup as the scoop and close the top?

because you'll get grinds all over the kcup, then all over the keurig.

You'd get grounds on the outside which would wash down into the cup. I have something similar to this, but the pourer flips down tongs-style. I don't see this being any better. It is nice to keep the coffee in a resealable jar and just use reuseable k-cups.

Coffee particles cling to places you don't want them.
Then, during brewing, they will rinse into your cup.
mm-mm yummy!

I think the whole concept of refilling k cups is a misnomer. It's a no mess (!!!) mediocre tasting coffee option. If you have coffee beans and a grinder pour over will provide so much better coffee.

Exactly, this is a stupid solution to a problem that never existed. They even patented it. laugh out loud And these days people will buy anything.
