Ok price right now. Just ordered 1 right now. Does anyone have this ssd and know if We can shuck it and put it in a laptop. the exterior looks a little ugly.

Kind of hoping it's a 2242 ssd inside since that's what Lenovo always put inside their laptop and my Lenovo laptop also have a open slot for it

The short answer is: No, you cannot effectively shuck the Lenovo PS6S.
While it is physically possible to open the aluminum casing, the drive inside is not a standard M.2 or SATA SSD that you can plug into a motherboard. Instead, the Lenovo PS6S uses a "native USB" controller where the flash memory and the USB interface are integrated onto a single, proprietary PCB.

I got the drive out. It is an mSATA so I just got a mSATA to SATA adapter on Amazon for $7.
