This happens to be one of the lowest cost native 120hz that I've come across, unless it's lying about the 120. That other one is a better deal but it's 60hz.

I have what I'm guessing is the predecessor of this TV, the 2017 55S405. It still works and is our primary TV. Only issue is that it's very dark and the Roku interface is getting really laggy. I just googled it, and it says that even the newer version here has the same brightness of 244-272 nits. That's horrible for today's standards. If you have a room that gets any kind of sunshine, don't get this.

I was about to jump on this - exactly what I'm wanting for my son's room:

-budget (ish) panel
-120hz refresh for his ps5 gaming (Fortnite)
-50" (ish) size

Thank you for posting that this is not actually a native 120hz display. If it were, this woulda been perfect !!

I need to second this post: My sister in law just purchased this TV and this is her main complaint about it. This TV does not get bright enough, so please listen to this post. Do not purchase this for a sunny room.
