Awesome. I think this is better than the refurbish for $160. Thanks!

Got one at this price before at Costco. Great little unit - love it! And the two portable chargers are a real bonus. Recommended!

This is the one with the USB port for UPS with a computer. Unfortunately, it's not a standard protocol and has to be used with their software. People with NAS might not be able to program for shutdown.

I believe this works for Unraid - See here [reddit.com]. I'm not sure about others though but it's certainly better/cheaper than a standard lead acid system. I hate changing batteries in those things. I can confirm if it works for Unraid once I receive it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe these have NUT support so they should work with any NAS setup that also has NUT support (i.e. unraid).

it's listed in nuts hardware compat list as "based on publicly available protocol" so as long as ecoflow hasnt/doesnt change anything i would imagine it'd work fine

Woohoo... there's a firmware update that supposedly fixes an issue with unexpected AC power loss. I sure hope this fixes my biggest gripe with these things for UPS usage.

UPDATE: Still crap. I tested it and it still cut the AC power even when it was plugged in. Beware of using these as a UPS!

Works perfectly with Linux, though you may need to update your kernel if using it with some oddball distro.

If you're having trouble with it in Windows, try this NUT client: https://github.com/gawindx/WinNUT-Client

Dang I bought the refurb. Should I get this instead and return the refurb when it comes in?

For $40 and Costco, I think it's worth it. I mean, if you're just throwing this in your car? Maybe keep the refurb. Using this for something expensive, ie computer or server hardware, get new. Just my .02. If you check the most recent thread, you can see the refurbish unit they sent me. It was grizzly. Probably rare that it happened, but still.

If I were you I would probably order the Costco one and wait until you get the refurb. If you get a great refurb then keep the refurb and return the Costco one (should be easy return if you go to a Costco store).... if there's an issue with the refurb then return the refurb and keep the Costco one... or maybe keep them both if they are both good and you could use two of them.

Like Ubuntu 22.04 LTS apparently. Can confirm it works though, running NUT in docker.
