Not being a dink, but what is the purpose of this? Can you still play 1080 max?

A bit too old for modern games. Better suited to add 4K and HDMI to an older desktop for a graphics bump. Perfect for streaming or office use.

I bought the 9070 XT XFX for 650 coming from a 6800 XT. I can't imagine using this card
Different strokes for different folks. This card is far from meeting your expectations, but it's perfect for some. I'm actually shocked that you would compare a $50 card to a $650 card.

Another potential use is pairing it up with a better GPU for "Loseless Scaling"

These are good for troubleshooting systems and adding display output to a system without a GPU of any kind, but I wouldn't consider one for much else.

I like this idea, cheap and effective way to tell if your card is the problem. I wonder if this card requires pcie power as well, if so then the pcie cables could be tested as well !!

A ten years old graphic card (9 years to be exact) with lunch prices of 79, now with 20 dollar discount a decade later, somehow got posted in the Slickdeals.

Wtf? I'm not sure the fact that you can find a new 10 years old graphic card more impressive, or the fact that deal even got posted.

If you happen to need a card like this, this is a pretty fair price.

However, I think that would be a pretty niche use case. It is no good for gaming at this point. I suppose you could use it in an HTPC but no support for the latest codecs and it isn't better that what a modern CPU can do with integrated graphics for less power.

So, not sure who actually needs this but if you happen to have a niche use case for this card, I guess this is a reasonable price in the current market.

And I imagine you couldn't imagine this card's use case if you think those two GPU's are even worth discussing in the same conversation as a RX 550.

*but you just came here to brag because you think someone is going to be impressed by your $650 card....we're not BTW.

The 5500XT that pops up for $70 is a much better deal
