Tbh, pretty good deal.
$280 for my Tres-In-One, $380 for my Stormshadow. Bought them for less at the outlets.

Or it's a marketing brand loyalty strategy to adhere to their commitment to promoting a circular economy while avoiding landfill diversion. It also allows them to reuse trade-in materials.

Yeah I figured with the normal estimated value being 20% of MSRP etc. Decent deal assuming it's something you don't need anymore.

They clearly having trouble selling their new products, hence the "credit deal"

This is the closest available to what I bought 8 years ago and if they gave me full retail credit on them, I would not accept it. They still look very good.

So, if they tell me I'll get $36 on some joggers will I then get $72 after I mail it in? Or, i the $36 after the 2x trade in credit...I feel like it shouldn't be confusing but I may be missing something.

From https://www.patagonia.com/trade-in/ Under title "Trade in your used Patagonia gear." Select InStore button.
It will show three steps. At Step 3, lookup Store: https://www.patagonia.com/store-l...brandstore

Yes. I just did in-store and they offered the exact same credit from the trade-in quiz.

What they're currently showing in the trade-in quiz is already doubled, so assuming you're seeing $36 in the quiz, you'll get $36.
They usually offer ~20% of MSRP so now it is ~40% with the offer. https://help.patagonia.com/s/arti...y-trade-in
