"Squatty Potty, a brand owned by Aterian, has no affiliation, partnership, or ongoing relationship with Mr. Robert Edwards. Edwards was part of a group, including private equity firms, that sold specific assets to Aterian in a one-time transaction in 2021.

Following the completion of that acquisition, all associations with Edwards and his family ceased. He is not an employee, a partner, or a stakeholder in our company. Any claims to the contrary are categorically false."

Good deal. These look better than the plastic but on bare feet do have some "sharp" edges.

Can one stand on this like a regular stool ? Would it be stable? Thinking it might take up less room under a pedestal sink (in between "occasions")

Decently well made, but the foot rest angles down away from your ankles which makes it awkward to rest your feet on it.

I might be the odd person out but I tired the plastic one and found these super uncomfortable to use. You might want to try a cheaper plastic one to see if this works for you.
