Beat deal for this mat - many people use to cut hitting inserts into (SigPro Softy, Beaver Tail, Fiberbuilt etc).

Have had mat for almost four years. Abused it and doing well. Have cut it for a SigPro Softy hitting strip recently.

I bought this for the same intention to cut in a better hitting mat. How did the Softy compare to hitting off this directly? Saving up my money for the new Square launch monitor but that's my next purchase. Just wondering if I can get by for awhile with just this, haven't had any pain in the few weeks I've been using it.
