The warranty on these is absurdly good. I've had 3 or 4 of these jackets over the past few years. They get snagged on thorns and sticks and stuff and form holes and almost every year I mail it in. Costs about $12 s/h. They have patches that match the color perfectly and mail it back for free. Twice I've had them say they "can't repair it"—the first time because the jacket was just old and ragged, the second because part of the logo peeled off and they couldn't fix logos apparently? In both cases they instead awarded me a gift card for the full MSRP of the jacket (like $290 ish) despite me only having paid about the price in this deal ($100-130). They're essentially paying me to wear their gear at this point.

Wow that's great to know. It actually makes this a much better deal since these types of down jackets never last for that long.

For folks who aren't used MH, I find them to run a bit big.

Do you know if the warranty still applies if the item is not purchased directly from MH? I have a fleece that tore apart when I literally put my arms in the holes but it wasn't purchased from MH directly.

just venting cuz dont know why companies choose to do this when it saves money and just banking on customers to not return and reorder

SWEEEEEEET, better price AND better colors this time! Grabbed dark heather gray 🩶. My wife has had one for a year and loved it. Not quite as ultralight as other Down jackets but super soft and comfortable. 10/10 recommend

Yes, I wasn't asked for proof of purchase when I submitted a warranty request.

Looks like REI might have some on clearance, YMMV on your local store.

I don't think 3XL needs down to insulate

Thanks, OP. After all the FP ads for jackets in the wrong size/color in the past weeks, I found a good one here.
