meh.. for this much money I would get a panther lake xps 14.. they start right around here.. or if you have a costco membership they are still selling the panther lake x7 358h hp omnibook x (called omnibook 7) 16" for 1500 with 32gb and a 2tb ssd 2k oled yada yada its the tits. why spend new tech money on old tech ? spend new tech money on.. new tech bro. cmon or wait another month or 2 for newer model choices. the 1200p oled in the omnibook x pairs perfectly with the new arc b390 igpu and its fast! 20hr battery

I got this during last Black Friday for $950. It was on sale for $1200, and then there was some stupid 3rd party finance deal that was going on for another $250 off. The screen, build quality, and keyboard are great. Everything else about it is what you'd expect from intel 258v, which is very good, but can be had for cheaper in other lower teir models. I wouldn't pay $1400 for it, but then again I didn't

This looks great, but it's a 16", so it defeats the purpose of an efficient CPU. https://www.costco.com/p/-/hp-omn...4000372378

Yes, will jump on it if it's a 14-15 inch laptop which is a bit more portable. This is more like a mobile desktop.

I have the 15 inch 228v version - It's a great travel laptop / general purpose device. Battery last about 10 hours or so on the 15 inch model. Screen looks great, and bright enough for brightly lit rooms. I didn't need the extra 4mb L3 cache on the CPU, and I picked up the 15 inch version for like 1099 last year.

Great specs, wonder when a ThinkPad will feature such components at this price.

The omnibook X had a lower resolution screen. It isn't the best at 16". It would look better on the 14" size. Also the omnibook X is pretty heavy. So if you don't need a strong CPU, and prioritize a higher resolution OLED screen that is anti glare, this is a better option.
