4.7 star review from 1012 people, what else do you want? This is best buy brand and mostly manufactured by Haier and Midea. Yes, they are reliable.

I turned this into a cold plunge a couple years ago and it's still working great.

My 3.5 cubic foot insignia died last week after just three years, which is why I'm looking for a new one. But given the amount of good reviews, they are probably generally pretty reliable. Most chest freezers are expected to last ten years or more.

I previously owned the 5' and currently own the 7' version. They're stored in the garage (survived 5 frigid Midwest winters) and I have zero complaints. Great value!

Approaching 4 months now since we purchased this back in Nov of last year. Working great so far. Make sure to follow the manual and let it defrost for 24 hours before putting any food items inside..

Agree, while standups are 2-3x the price, the hassle savings is worth it for most people. We still laugh about how much time we spent looking for stuff at the bottom of our old chest freezer.

I've had an Insignia chest just like this for close to 10 years. It's fantastic and one of the best investments for my home that I've ever made. Couldn't recommend it enough

14 cu ft is gigantic. Great for a large family of 5+ or if you hunt and want to store an elk or if you are Jeffrey Dahmer 🤪😅

What or how did you turn it into a cold plunge? (I've researched a bunch.) and what was the cost?
