Thanks for the heads up! was worried this might be bulky to use in more confined areas

Also own this - Not too large for me. Use it daily. Works well. But you're right as it's prob not the best for confined spaces.

I have this- two, actually- would not buy again. Switching between directions is awkward and the end cap comes off, the bits fall out, and you're left holding onto the uncomfortable threaded end every time you use it.

This is an awesome screwdriver. I love the turbo mechanism for lightweight stuff like faceplates or any long machine screws. I wanted so badly to make this an EDC but it is just a little too big to comfortably carry in-pocket all day. Certainly not at the expense of my Klein 11-1. But it's a fun tool and I quite enjoy it. Well worth retail price and this is a steal.

This looks like this gives a good overview. Basically, user can continuously rotate left and right wrist to drive the screwdriver. It's a nice idea. IMO, an extra value is that since you don't have to pause to readjust for the next turn, it minimizes screw wobbling.

The only issue is you need to hold the collar in place with your other hand in order to use the dual drive mechanism which can be akward at times. Also it really only works if you aren't putting much torque on it like screwing in pre-drilled screws, or electrical plate screws. If it requires more force, you aren't able to grip the collar hard enough to get it to screw with the "backstroke".

I have this, but prefer the Husky over it: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Conti.../316165467
(when on sale half the price of the Craaftsman)has a much better feel to it and gives you options for going stubby or extra long in addition to the standard size as well as a thumb switch that does not require you to lift your hand to switch between forward, reverse and none. The "none" mode is absent on the Craftsman which should be a deal breaker for most: Its just not possible to disable the ratchet in cases that need a delicate twist.

I have this as well as the Kobalt equivalent, they're a great design, but more on the order of those fidget spinners so popular a while back, fun to play with but not what you reach for. If you need speed just grab your battery powered M12 screwdriver and save some real time.

Everyone seems to buy one of these types of of thing at some point, but honestly, there is no substitute for a couple of plain ol' screwdrivers.

True. I have this, and I only use it when I know I have to screw a bunch of screws in and can't use some electric screwdriver. But it does speed up the process.

This is not a good deal. This is nearly identical for $18.
