I just can't imagine why anyone would buy a watch you have to charge every day.
they had the samsung 3 on sale for 40 dollars couple weeks ago. i was excited to get my hands on one till the salesperson told me about the battery time
All those folks who bought the Pixel 10a from google and have $100 store credit burning a hole in your pocket, I think this deal is gunning for you, lol.
Edited: doh, just realized this post was for Amazon. The watch is the same price at google, though, with this and other color options. People who bought the 10a at amazon also got $100 gift card, but there's a lot more to spend it on at Amazon. Which is why this sale feels like a decent possible use of store credit if you shopped at Google, where you have fewer choices to spend it on.

This is a decent deal. I've had this watch for 10 months and it seems to be pretty good. If you have Google fi service, many of the plans get free included Watch service.

Because my pixel 3 watch is connected to Google fi Cellular service for free, it does require charging everyday. I don't know which watches Google fi will support for free.

I'd skip this and go for the Pixel 4. Wife had all sorts of issues with Pixel 3 (blank screen, not recognizing gestures, etc.) but a much better experience with the 4. If you use Gemini a lot and want to 'lift to chat', I'd def go with the 4.

Conversely on an analog watch post, someone said they dont know why anyone would buy a watch without the advanced tracking metrics and features... you guys both answered each other's questions.

I'm digital, no longer analog but I get 10 to 14 days out of a 70$ amazfit.

It's more Apple, Samsung, (and to a lesser extent) Google that get 2-3 days because they are focused on the "smart" functionality. For example the Spotify app having near-parity with the phone app just means that the battery life will be worse.
