I like how it's 12v also. I'll just leave it in the car and depending where I am I'll deal with getting an 18v battery or just charging it off the cars 12v.

Great deal, on great pump. I currently own one of these. The only one that might be better is the Milwaukee for more than double the price.

Bought Ryobi ONE+ 18V Cordless Dual Function Inflator/Deflator(Tool Only) when they ran the $34 off coupon and it seems to have similar spec making it $36 so won't be needing this one. I do like that Ridgid has the lifetime warrantee though.

Good price but that Ryobi does not work off the car battery, 12 volts. You need batteries and charger. The Ridgid works off 12 volts and the 12 volt cord is included. The Ridgid LSA is also a plus.

After trying the Ridgid and Ryobi handheld units, this one is a game changer. I love it. It fills my truck tires, bike tires, misc. sports balls, and beach inflatables very quick. Not as fast as my old, gigantic tank compressor, but takes up almost no space and does whatever I need.

I have the dewalt version of this. I used to have a big compressor I needed to drag out to fill car/bike tires. This makes it so much easier. Being able to do stuff like pool toys (and vacuum them back down when done with them) is great.

Noticing they have that combo package right now for $109.99 that you mention. Think I might grab that one as it includes battery and charger and while I'm not in Rigid ecosystem, this might be a good gateway and $40 for 2Ah battery and charger isn't too bad.

How precise is this thing for sports balls like a basketball where you want only 7 to 8 psi?

The LSA is handy. I bought a compressor when they weren't offering the LSA but they changed it. Same for the batteries for awhile.

As precise as you want it to be, I wouldn't trust the built in gauge though, go by feel or check manually.
