Getting the E7350 today. Plan on setting up a PiHole and putting OpenWrt on it. Fantastic price to play around with this new to me tech!

I bought 3 of those. Planning to do a mesh w them via easy mesh w stock firmware. Any advantage to do openwrt if I'm planning to do mesh network ?

Pretty low prices. Did the market drop out because the ISP are including routers bundled with service or did something else happen?

Dear Wooter,
Woot here. We messed up and sent you a Wi-Fi Extender instead of the Linksys Dual-Band AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Router you purchased. We are very sorry! Unfortunately, we do not have replacements to send you at this time. Because of this, we have issued a full refund for the item. You do not have to return the item that you received. Please use, dispose of or donate it as you please. For further questions, we can be reached via email at [email protected] or by going through the Customer Service Support form on the website. Once again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

I've never played around with openwrt before, new to me. But woot screwed me and sent me an extender instead of the router. Hopefully yours come through!

Honestly I've never set this up before, that's just what I was gonna try. It'll have to wait though, I'm one of those affected by getting the wrong item.

Not totally familiar with NextDNS, but I assume pi-hole gives you more control. Also, NextDNS gives you 300,000 queries a month, and then there's a charge.

These guys appear to not have good or in some cases, any, opensource firmware support. I was about to order some and then decided to check and was surprised with the findings.
