True, but these never last until refurb sale, it was never in stock during the last one end of February

Not going to gamble on a sale still a great deal, I have the Tamron 150-500 but I'm not loving it so I'm going to hope this is better suited.

Ordered Monday, shipped Tuesday, delivered today. Looks untouched by human hands but came with just what I assume is a bag wrapped in tons of bubble wrap in an extremely large box in an even more extremely large box...

I would check that the buttons all work and it works fine with the max shooting speed of your body. Not sure how thorough the refurb process is.
