Doesn't work for me, says 181$ then when I go to finish checkout it's $269.

They wouldn't allow me to set the battery for pickup and ship the saw but I was able to set them for pickup at different stores.

It is showing $269 for me as well. But there is an option if you look through the Home Depot listings where you can get one free 12-volt battery to go along with it.

Ok i'm unfamiliar with this process. If I returned that battery home depot would give me money for the battery even though I bought the two together?

This is referred to as the "hack". For these separate items that are bundled together as one deal you can either not pick up or return one of the items and you'll get back a portion of the purchase price that often results in the remaining item being very significantly discounted. Even though it's initially sold as the battery being free it averages the prices out for the purpose of returning them.
This doesn't work for bundles that are sold as a single item even if they're actually packaged separately.

They show up separately in the cart. You need to just purchase both and return the battery. That will bring the cost of the bandsaw to $181. You can get them both delivered or pick up both and return the battery. Either way works. They won't let you have one pick up and one delivered.

Used my M18 compact version of this just yesterday... not something I use often but man it can't be beat when it's the right tool for the job. Would've taken me 10x longer to cut (steel tube) with a hacksaw, and did a much cleaner job of it, too.

FYI, when I added M12 shop vac and another "free" battery, the price for the band saw went down to $166 and the shop vac is $92. I'm probably going to keep both tools, but I guess if I return the vac the saw is even cheaper than the OP.
