I agree, not overpriced at all relative to everything else these days.
Even the most expensive burger on the menu is $15...$7.50 each for 2x Bacon Cheeseburgers (each w/ double patty) is NOT at all bad these days. They're also crazy generous w/ Fries (like "let's just fill a paper bag to the brim" generous)f

Even with their inflated prices, B1G1 of their most expensive burger + large fries + tax + tip is just under $30
A more realistic (calorie-wise) order of 2x Burgers (which you can absolutely load up with toppings) + regular fries + tax + tip comes out to just under $26, or $13 a person.
Not "cheap", but not "way overpriced" either Smilie

Where do you live a burger is $4, I'm moving there. $12 for the basic to start here. Even at half price, I can get Waygu burgers (in name only ) from Costco or BJ's for <$2 a patty which is 2x better.
Burgers are one of the biggest ripoff today man. Then you add fries and a drink $20, I can go to a sitdown for less than that now.

I get it, 5 Guys is expensive. But saying Costco's frozen wagyu patties taste better is crazy talk. I've tried all of their frozen burger options and though they are decent for convenience sake, they can't touch fresh ground beef burger patties, 5 Guys included. This deal at $5ish per burger is an excellent considering all the extras are free. Even at $2 a patty, you're not factoring in the cost of the bun, bacon, cheese, veggies, sauce, etc. So at the end of the day your $2 patty becomes a $4 burger. Good luck cooking one up if you're not near a grill or cooktop. Unless you like them microwaved lol.

With the coupon, around the price of an In-n-Out. Hamburger with the toppings, a decent deal, 2 for $11; $8 for 2 little burgers.

It's 10 dollars for a little burger in NYC. so no it's not cheap. and plenty of better burger options that are cheaper here.

Okay you got me - can you elaborate? I searched for Amex and Five and got nothing. Went to my card and looked for Five and nothing.
So you are saying there is a Amex deal for $10 of something for Five? I searched the nets and saw a reference to this used to be for Smashed but changed to Five.
EDIT: I think the Amex deal is only for Gold Memeber cards - right??

I just did the BOGO deal and had a FG burger a few weeks ago - $11+ out the door and I have to agree - not at all impressed anymore. I used to love FG - now meh. I of course had to add fries and there's the reason for these deals - addons.

EDIT: To add - even the fries don't seem to be as good. Maybe they rushed the cook time - they were mushy.
