Five Guys is a customizable burger deal that shines when loaded with toppings, Cajun fries, and the app or promo code. The BOGO math brings burgers down to roughly five to six dollars each in several checkout examples, and the free peanuts and generous fry portions add value. The main knocks are the high regular prices, extra fees on delivery, and the fact that fries and buns can be soggy or inconsistent at some locations. It feels like a solid way to get a better burger for less, especially if you skip the full meal upsell.

Amex rewards $10 cash back is doing double duty this week! TU
Awesome suggestion on the AMEX Gold $10 rewards. I tried it on the website for first time and paid with AMEX Gold. Hope I get the cash back.

Add me to the "how does Five Guys stay in business?" club. Tried the BOGO today. for $7 it was an OK value by todays standards. But at 13.50 I would have been pissed off! Once you hit that price point, you expect something much better than their "product". A toasted Brioche bun, not a soggy generic bun that you can get 8 for $1.69 at any grocery store. Premium ingredients like thick cut bacon, onion straws, or some chef crafted combination. Not basic, low cost McDonalds ingredients. Quality beef, not a flavorless grey patty. If you're going to do mushrooms on a burger they HAVE to be fresh, don't bother if you're using canned mushroom pieces. Even at $7 I'd still probably opt for grabbing a $6 burger from Wendy's. There's just nothing there to justify spending more. At $13 50 they pretty much guaranteed I'll never be back but thanks 5 guys for giving me the opportunity to confirm what I learned the last time I ate there 5 years ago.
Not sure where you're shopping but even in suburban Minnesota at Aldi a 6-pack of Brioche buns is $4.39 as of today. I'm not saying 5Guys is cheap and I'll maybe agree with much of the rest of your post but send me some cheap/free rolls. Terrible store brand hot dog buns are $2+ these days not on sale.

Flour is still cheap so I'll keep that KitchenAid runnin'!

I wonder why they make that distinction...seems so ridiculous
I suppose Delta a person gets free bags at some valuation and normal Gold gets sammiches and Dunkin'.

Went yesterday, there was over 100 people there. Took over an hour to make our order. Poor delivery guys had to just sit there. Was worth it though, best burger ever! Hit the spot!

I get an email and see credit in about a day. Don't miss out on the Dunkin' (I don't do donuts but sometimes a sammich and coffee just to make use of it) and Uber Eats. UberEats can pay off even if ordering via app/site but picking up yourself. Careful as pricing can get wacky.

That's my point. I didn't get a brioche bun, I got a shitty cheap ass generic bun like this: https://www.gianteagle.com/grocer...0034400453

Thanks for this deal. It's been about five years since I've been to five guys and it'll probably be another five years before I go back. Definitely worth it at $5-6 a burger

used this deal yesterday. In the Houston TX area, regular burger was $10.99.

Meat, toppings were good. Worse thing was the bun.

BOGO well worth it but I would not pay full price for it. Also, their fries were too $$. I added McD fries for $1 off of their app.
