Worst rain jacket ever. No lining, no venting, no breathability. If you wear this for long or on even a moderately warm day, you'll get soaked with perspiration if not rain. I love Columbia stuff but quickly replaced this one with a proper 3 layer breathable Columbia rain jacket because I absolutely hated it, and the difference is like night and day.

lol pretty true. You have to treat this like an fancy rain poncho. I've only worn mine a few times when it looked like it was going to rain when i was walking my dog. I've never actual had to use it as a rain jacket.

I bought a Columbia Wakeena Falls rain jacket. It's a 3 layer fabric, their proprietary version of GoreTex, more or less. It's a real rain jacket, with some venting, fully seam-sealed, much more breathable, with a great hood. It may have been discontinued but those are the features to look for in a jacket that will keep you dry in heavy or sustained rain, regardless of brand.
That's overkill if you're just going from the house to the car or whatever, or for just an occasional or brief rain, but I hated the Glennaker even on cool, dry days. I work partially outside no matter the weather, so while I don't need a good rain jacket to hike the Appalachian trail, I do keep one in my work truck at all times because getting wet makes for very long days.
