I think put the speed in the PoE Injector is some kind of marketing BS tho. Unless you are power drive 1000 feet apart, there shouldn't be any speed difference when comes to 1G injector or 10G injector , it negotiated via the backend router/switch

How would this compare to the Ubiquiti 10G PoE++ Adapter (60W) for the same price?

Would be the same, except the ubiquiti one isn't an eyesore

40 bucks is not bad if you need POE++ but for 99.99%, POE+ is more than enough for most application also and you can get injector for like 10-15 bucks. I have Wifi 7 Omada 700 series AP, they needed POE++ in the beginning but they updated the firmware so you can use POE+ ... and that is for 10g.

That was always my question, does the Ubiquiti system care if I've got another brand of power injector.

The Ubiquiti PoE+ (30w) 2.5G is only $19, everyday. The PoE++ (60w) 10G is $39, and the PoE+++ (90w) is $49. I bought the PoE++ 10G which is a fantastic price compared to the TrendNet.

Not sure about this one but the $19 ubiquiti only compatible listed ubiquiti devices. I bough one of them for a non-uibiquiti AP and it only do POE.

Passive PoE, yes. 802.3at/bt, no
Depends on the equipment what it supports. Sometimes one or the other and sometimes both. Check the specs

You could get a 8 port 2.5g poe switch for not much more than this.

Please explain. Surely you aren't saying if I put a 10/100 or 1Gb injector inline to a 10GBe switch, the line will run to it at 10GBe.... are you?

Ugh, I hate the thought process, for a little bit more I can get a no/name 2.5GbE PoE switch, but wait for just a little bit more I can get a Zyxel 2.5GbE PoE switch with better build quality, and now look, I moved to a USW-Enterprise (8 2.5GbE PoE, 2 10Gb SFP+, found one for about ~$350, UniFi always gets you in the end lol.

Check your product specs though. Some Ubiquity equipment uses passive PoE and a 3rd party injector will cook it.
