I went ahead and purchased from T-Mobile since I use them. They couldn't price match, but did give me a $50 statement credit. So it works out to the same deal $249-$50=$199 at T-Mobile.

I went ahead and purchased from T-Mobile since I use them. They couldn't price match, but did give me a $50 statement credit. So it works out to the same deal $249-$50=$199 at T-Mobile.

A little bit of a horror story with Verizon, but it worked out in the end. Same AirPods deal in early February…..ordered a pair for store pickup, but went to the store and they said they didn't have them and would cancel the order. They were a-holes as well, but that's not important. So I waited, they never canceled the order, so I went into my account and canceled the order. Then I placed a new order for delivery and that was good. About a month later, I get the notification that my bill is ready and of course they charged me for both pairs (had to charge it to my account since credit cards usually block anything related to Verizon, AT&T, etc because of possible fraud. I called customer service, got a very nice girl who assured me it would be taken care of within 24 hours. Nope, no charge removed. Waited one week, called again (yesterday, in fact) and got another very helpful person. He said he would get the extra charge removed while we were on the phone. Sure enough, he got it done. All good in the end……..but pay attention to your bill. Their systems must suck bigly!

These have been chronically on sale since release. There are new set of premium pods coming out which will affect sale prices of these. Even then I would never buy from Verizon, read the horror stories, they arent the same solid company as years past both selling accessories or phone service. Buy them from Best Buy, Amazon, Costco
