Dial and Dove are completely different leagues. I've tried many and Dove is the only bar soap that doesn't dry skin out. The 2nd closest is cetaphil followed by Caress (owned by dove too)
I've even used the fancy Dr.Squatch, Bronners, Aveeno along with the traditional brands like dial and Irish spring. Nothing comes close to those three
