Be prepared to wash the off-gassing smell and greasy film used for releasing these bumper from the casting mold. After several washings and leaving in the sun for 3 weeks, it still had a blackish residue and some off-gassing smell. Finally used paper towels and all-purpose cleaner spray to more forcefully wipe the final residue like black grease onto the paper towels. Now debating about leaving the vinyl bumper plates outside and create a separate lifting area with them. Annoying issue with bumper plates.
