This 22 piece brake piston caliper press kit is a handy low cost fix for rear disc brake jobs, especially screw in pistons that need to be rotated as they compress. It makes brake changes smoother and more precise than a C clamp, and the case and adapter assortment cover a range of caliper shapes. The price also compares well with loaner tools and Harbor Freight alternatives. The main caution is that one spindle threads in reverse, so the tool can feel wrong until the direction clicks. A practical home mechanic kit for occasional brake work.

Lol waiting for the peeps who will say you don't need this because they know the exact car everyone drives.

But I am jealous if all you need is a c clamp to reset your brake piston or whatever it's called. Mine unfortunately needs the one that rotates as it compresses
I've done lots of brake jobs and always used a c-clamp. Then I was changing brakes on a friend's Ford Exploder and thought 'what the heck is this?' I was loaned the proper tool kit from the neighborhood OReilly's and got thru the job. I could just keep getting the loaner from them but at this price it'll save me a couple trips to their store. As a side note I could've kept the loaner but it was a $90 deposit so it was like paying $90 for their used set.
Thanks OP!

Lol yep I know all about it, I've got one.. Last thread there were a few people saying "just use a c clamp!". It's like they think all brakes are the exact same design.
Those are people who have owned the same car for over a decade and have never changed any brakes other than their own.

Way cheaper and more complete than the Harbor Freight version even when on sale. Also interestingly, the typical price $14 doesn't look right, more like $16-20
In for 1 to save a trip to the parts store!

This works best for dual piston calipers: https://www.amazon.com/Compressio...F0aWM&th=1
