HD website says 8 available near me at clearance price. Good deal with the included 24 AAA batteries. Hope their inventory isn't as messed up as I've found lately.

This deal worked for me; website correctly showed in-stock and $4.50 price.
Also found a Husky 1200 Lumens rechargeable in the same section on sale for $6.90 which was also slick.

I realize it's only $4.50. I realize it's not some top tier product, but 60 lumens isn't great. For reference, the free Harbor Freight flashlights are 70 lumen.

Extremely dim light, extremely low-quality battery, and low-quality flashlight.

For reference, Harbor Freight Tools (that cheap-o imported tool store in chain malls which perpetually smells like offgassing tires) have coupons (lol) which give those flashlights away, every so often.

I'd say they're only good enough to give to a kid to play with, but I wouldn't trust something with this much potential lead and cadmium around anyone I love. So maybe a great gift for someone else you really like in your life. 🤣

quantity over quality as they say, I'd definitely rather have a bunch of dim, crappy flashlights scattered around my house than one high quality one LOL

Or, hear me out, you can buy a couple of high quality ones and put them where you need them the most.

You can get a Wurkkos FC11 light -- 18650 battery for longer runtimes + brightness, 1300lm max, multiple brightness adjustments, IPX-7 water resistance, magnetic tailcap, 90 CRI, built-in USB-C charging -- for a mere $20. These are lights that a decade+ ago, you'd be spending $100+ for an equivalent.

Toss one in your bag, on your nightstand, hang it by the door, etc. Buy once, cry once.

Personally I like the ts-10 for how small it is, it's brighter than I'd need 99% of the time and I've gotten three of them for about $12 each through sales...I've got a fc11 and about 8 other wurkkkos/sofirns/convoys/fenix but those tiny ts-10s are what I always find myself with. I would still rather have any one of those than 20 of these crappy things. If I ever felt the need for a 60 lumen flashlight I'd just use my phone....or a match.

Unless you have 24 rechargeable AAAs around, this is a throwaway deal. You'll use all 24 included batteries just filling them the first time, and you only get TWO HOURS out of them (if that).

This is a "printer sale", but worse.
