Also found a Husky 1200 Lumens rechargeable in the same section on sale for $6.90 which was also slick.
For reference, Harbor Freight Tools (that cheap-o imported tool store in chain malls which perpetually smells like offgassing tires) have coupons (lol) which give those flashlights away, every so often.
I'd say they're only good enough to give to a kid to play with, but I wouldn't trust something with this much potential lead and cadmium around anyone I love. So maybe a great gift for someone else you really like in your life. 🤣

You can get a Wurkkos FC11 light -- 18650 battery for longer runtimes + brightness, 1300lm max, multiple brightness adjustments, IPX-7 water resistance, magnetic tailcap, 90 CRI, built-in USB-C charging -- for a mere $20. These are lights that a decade+ ago, you'd be spending $100+ for an equivalent.
Toss one in your bag, on your nightstand, hang it by the door, etc. Buy once, cry once.

This is a "printer sale", but worse.
