Not really the same thing. An RMM like Action1 works at the OS level, so the machine has to be booted and the agent running. A KVM is hardware console access, so you can see BIOS, install an OS, or recover a system that's completely dead.
RMM is for managing working systems. KVM is for fixing broken ones. Totally different layers. If the machine is bricked, an RMM is useless. A KVM still works. Different tools for different problems.

Thanks. Another sleepless night. Never heard of a rmm or kvm and all the above. Perplexity here I come.
