Only 1080 and no curve on a monitor this big seems like a definite "nope"

It's not a bad deal if your needs aren't crazy. 1080p Resolution and it's not curved, but those two "negatives" wouldn't bother most productivity users. This is effectively two basic office monitors side by side, but you have the advantage of only dealing with one set of cables instead of two. It's a decent display panel which gets bright enough for most situations unless you have a window that's going to be throwing direct sunlight on it.
The ergonomics on this appear pretty good as well, with side to side and tilt built into the hinge. It claims to have height adjustment, but I didn't notice from the description how much adjustment you really get. Also, it has built-in speakers which is nice if you don't have a set currently or you're tight on space.
If your needs for a monitor begin and end at email, web browsing and Excel spreadsheets, this is a good deal from a company that makes good monitors. For the money, I don't think most productivity users would hate this.

The only "gotcha" is the USB-C connection. It carries data and video signal, but not power. If you were hoping to use this to charge your laptop as well, you'll have to go with something else.

It's not a bad deal. Just don't listen to the gamers complaining that a simple ultra wide office monitor for $230 isn't an OLED panel at 240hz with 1800R curve.
