Soundcore Q20i over ear headphones are a budget pick for travel, planes, and noisy offices, with decent sound, solid battery life, and usable noise canceling for the price. They can also work well as a beater pair, and the frame has held up through drops in at least one long term use case. The main drawbacks are firmer fit than Bose or Sony, ear pads that can peel or disintegrate over time, and noise canceling that does not work over wired AUX. A practical low cost option if comfort and longevity are not the top priority.

  • These headphones can work well on airplanes and in noisy office environments.

  • The option to turn off noise cancelling can help you hear surroundings when needed.

  • The frame can hold up after repeated drops while audio stays the same.

  • The sound can be strong for the price when used for bedtime listening.

  • The ear padding cover can detach from the speaker side even with gentle use.

  • Ear pads can peel or disintegrate with occasional use, which can reduce comfort over time.

  • Battery life can drop to roughly 10-15 hours per charge after several years.

  • Noise cancelling may not work when using a wired AUX connection on airplane entertainment systems.

Just in time, one of the cups of my headphones broke off, a Taotronics deal from a 2018 Slickdeal.

Of all of the non-premium brands, Anker is most consistent in quality, IMO.

The older model (q20), which has micro USB charging, but is mostly the same otherwise is 22 bucks refurb from ankerdirect on walmart:

My son has these and he likes them better than his beats that he has, which were far more expensive.

I've used the Q20 Life as well as Space and both were pretty fantastic. I'd definitely jump on these if I were in the market for another set of headphones.

I've had the Q20's for several years. They sound good but the ear pads have peeled pretty badly with just occasional use and the battery life had gone down a bit. (Haven't kept track but I feel like I still get about 10-15 hrs or charge.) Debating if it's worth getting these, or just some replacement pads.
you can get the replacement pads really cheap from temu, etc. but i bought two pair of replacements sat on the second pair for a year and they disintegrated almost immediately so dont stock up.

how are they... lets just say we have seen them cheaper. I got my Q35 for $45 just a few years ago. It is like the older they become the more money they sell it for but technology is not suppose to work that way.

Recently got these. They work great on the plane and even better in a noisy office when you've been used to working from home. Battery life seems stellar so far. The option to turn off the noise cancelling makes it easy to hear what's going on around you when needed.

I use these when I'm laying in bed. They sound better than $40. I ordered some cloth ear cup replacements for them and I find them way more wearable now. That pleather on the ear never feels right to me. That's a me problem though. Dropped them from about 4 feet onto carpet dozens of times now. Frame has held up and they sound same as they did day one.

They're worth the money.

Solid deal. Anecdotal, but my Soundcore Space Q45 over-ears continue to be rock-solid years after. Understand that these aren't the same model, but would be worth taking the flyer at this price.

$35.99 from Anker via Costco Next

https://costco.anker.com/collecti...blue-white

Edit: Shipping adds $5 so better deal on white or black if you have prime. Otherwise you can get the blue or pink for $41
I came here to say this... you beat me. they didn't have pink when I ordered but I got other things the 2 times I did so I didn't pay shipping. I ended up getting my pink ones from newegg for 41 with free shipping. I got them for my kids. good buy IMO, I use the space45's
