Written by SaltyOne | Staff- Condition Notes: These watches are Apple Certified Preowned and are AppleCare eligible! That means they were refurbished by Apple. It also means they come in original Apple Watch packaging, have an original OEM Apple Watch Charger, come with a 1 Year Apple Warranty, and should essentially look brand new.

Apple Watch Series 9 GPS plus cellular here is mainly appealing as an Apple certified refurb that should arrive close to new, with reports of brand new components, a one year warranty, and AppleCare plus eligibility. The stainless steel version stands out because it uses sapphire crystal and a tougher case, while the aluminum model is repeatedly called out for easier scratching. The same price for aluminum and stainless makes the stainless option look especially strong. A separate note says warranty dates should be checked on arrival, since the listing may not always match the device record.
Shoppers who want a harder-wearing watch for daily wear, because stainless steel and sapphire crystal resist scratches better than aluminum and ion-x glass.
Buyers who want a like-new refurbished watch with Apple support, because Apple-certified units are described as having brand-new components and a one-year warranty.
People comparing Series generations for the cheapest similar-core model, because the Series 9 is treated as a small step up from Series 8 while sharing much of the same platform.
Shoppers who want cellular on a stainless model, because all stainless steel versions are cellular.
People who want a scratch-resistant aluminum watch for everyday use, because the ion-x glass and aluminum case can scratch easily.
Shoppers who need retail packaging included, because Apple-certified refurbished units are described as coming without the retail box.
People who want a big upgrade from Series 8, because the Series 9 specs are described as only a limited step up.
Buyers expecting a guaranteed pristine refurb experience, because one watch arrived with an expired warranty despite being listed as one year.
