If you have Costco's membership, take a look at Costco's option, cheaper and better deal.

It has pretty bad reviews. I wouldn't recommend it after reading some of them.

I have this one. It is good as long as you aren't trying to push it to capacity.

that's totally not the same thing, is it? Lot of us are now chaging mbps + iphones on the same charger. You can't charge a thinpad w/ a 30w charger.

ETA: I mean you could, but it'll be slow. I know for a fact my thinkpad draws 50watts

Good deal, yes. The Zolo 30W cube is solid, and the 240W cables are nice.

Those three items alone could justify the original $30 price, and even better at the $20* clearance price in store, for those that might still have them in stock weeks after it received the asterisk on the price tag.

But the 70W adapter in the bundle pushes things too far, and likely has one more port than it can capably handle. That means the 1A port is compromised by having to conserve power, making it behave unpredicably, and the 3C port it shares a circuit with is also vulnerable.

Lay user reviews are best taken with a grain of salt, but the mountain of evidence regarding its suspect durability can't be ignored.

ATOP has tested this model [youtube.com], which probably has a similar internal design, and it performed well enough to be included on his list of top adapters for 2025 [youtu.be]. But it doesn't try to split 70W four ways.

Some question the utility of this power class of adapters to begin with. Overkill for most phones, tables, and light-duty laptops. But not enough power to handle full-sized laptops, leaving them in sort of an odd middle ground.

That's a subjective user choice, but at least this adapter at least appears to be a solid option, based on actual empirical testing, and not the "looks nice, plugged it in, and it works" kind of review.

I have had the Costco one for a while now and absolutely no problems. Most of the reviews state that USB A doesnt work, but it works fine for me. It certainly is not bulky either. I would recommend the Costco one and worst case you can always return it to Costco if it doesnt work even after a month.

People who got the 100W Ankers for $15... I will say one has failed already.

I bought three and will warranty all three simultaneously for presumably 140W units. 😎
