First day, I upgraded the ssd to a 1 TB (later added a second 2 TB drive), and added a second matching 16gb Ram stick. Put the original 512gb ssd drive into a USB enclosure.
Plays games nicely, and also some VR.
Make sure to update BIOS and video drivers from their respective websites and let Windows Update update everything else.
I wish it was an ASUS brand rather than an ACER. That being said I purchased an acer refurbished laptop with a 5070 Ti for Cyber Monday last year for my kid. Took a while to ship, but they were in contact with me to let me know about the delay and status. I told them no rush, Inget they sold a ton for the sales. Got the laptop three weeks later. The one we received looks new. He's using it for Solid works and says it works great. He's away at college so the two year warranty on it is nice.
