This USB rechargeable shaker cup is best at mixing protein shakes and supplement blends more smoothly than a standard shaker bottle. It handles liquid, oatmeal, peanut butter, creatine, collagen, and similar powders without clumps, runs about 30 seconds at a time, and can be restarted or set to run continuously with a double tap. It is fairly quiet, easy to clean, and avoids the loud office shaking routine. The main caution is the bottom seal, which has been flagged as a possible leak point, though long term use has also been reported with no issues.

  • The electric mixer can blend 17 oz of liquids and thick add-ins clump-free.

  • The USB-C charging setup can use common iPhone or Android cables for power.

  • The shaker can run for about 30 seconds and can be restarted for longer mixing.

  • The cup can be fairly quiet and easier to clean than dramatic manual shaking.

  • The bottom seal design may loosen over time and let liquid seep into the motor.

  • Frozen fruit is not blended, so it may not work for smoothie-style ingredients.

  • The bottom-fed design raises leak concerns compared with a top-fed mixer layout.

  • The cup may hold less liquid than some metal whisk-ball shakers.

Who is this for? You can devote the time and energy to work out but then you are too exhausted to use a spoon to stir your protein powder?

I can tell you that this is a bad design. They sell tons of these on AliExpress for half the price. Now, the design is pretty bad because eventually the seal at the bottom would get loose. Liquid would sip under into the motor and make it inoperable. Unless this has a different design but I doubt it does because it looks exactly like the AliExpress ones.
I've had this exact cup and used it for like 1.5 years, the seal at the bottom has been fine. I use it for creatine/taurine/citrulline shakes everyday. As well as the occasional collagen/protein shake. It's still kicking and I have a 2nd one for back up once this one dies, tho it's been going strong for well over a year. The gasket at the bottom is substantial.

Volt has another type that has closed bottom cup with a motor piece that uses plastic tabs that fit into the bottom of the cup that spins the blender part, but that's not this model https://a.co/d/0hbKu2TW

Great for mixing supplements

I have this and it's awesome. Blends 17 oz of liquid, protein, oatmeal and peanut butter with ease. It comes out clump free. The motor will run for like 30 seconds and you can run it again if you need to. It's USBC to charge so you can use any iPhone/ android cable to charge. I like it
did they take away the tap twice for a longer run time

I was considering getting this because I didn't want to deal with washing one of those whisk ball things. But then I also didn't want to deal with the electronic part breaking down like some of the reviews said. I ended up getting a helimix shaker. No extra parts but still a good mix.

Today I learned I can tap the power button twice to get it to run without a timer. 1 for 30 seconds, tap 2x to run without timer

Is a faucet necessary? I eat the powder and force produce enough saliva to mix it with.

I've got one of these, it works well enough, is fairly quiet and is easy to clean. Main benefit is not having to do the dramatic loud shaking of a regular blender bottle in the office.

Somehow people have survived without these for millennia. I'm sure this is junk. Save your money.
