Got to be one of the most moronic designs I've ever seen.
1. Why metal? You can get the same RFID benefits in a normal wallet material.
2. A money strap? Its like your money was a second thought and at last minute they decided you need somewhere to put your money in this wallet so ok we will add a strap.

What's the closest equivalent of Ridge valet that doesn't cost as much?

I've been using this for about 3 weeks and like it. I barely carry any cash so it's not an issue for me.

Worth $5 if you are thinking of trying out this type of wallet. I think I still prefer my leather thin front pocket wallet. But this is nice. Let's me carry id, a few cards and a little cash. The click is fun.

I use one of the original minimalist wallets. That one and the current ones still have the money clip on the outside. I don't really like that even for a few bills.

I bought this a few months ago for $9 and I've been very happy with it. Very thin and the card slider works well. It's solid metal so definitely a front-pocket wallet.

The one I received last time this deal was active did not work and the design seems flawed. The elastic strap and compression plate on the outside of the wallet are not captured at all. Not even worth $2 in my opinion.
