I also got this last time for same price.

Thing is amazing. I get read/write speeds of almost 1000 MB/s with USB C connected to my Linux mini PC. On my MacBook Air M1, it writes even faster and unbelievably quickly.

Highly recommend. I'm buying a second one to convert some of my other M2 drives.

Doesn't support M.2 SATA SSD. Common with the M+B key.

Picked one up a couple weeks ago when the drive in an Orico housing failed -- paid regular price but needed to determine if the drive or housing was bad, & I was too lazy to pull the door off this PC's case. Like the Orico & Sabrent NVMe housings I have, this Fideco model is a clamshell affair, which means that the housing can actually work as a heatsink -- those that slide together cannot. And like the Orico & Sabrent versions, the heat sink pad that comes with it is too thin to make contact with the housing if/when using a WD NVME SSD. Adding a 2nd layer makes contact and the housing acts as a heatsink keeping temps down as verified in Crystal Disk Info. No problems recognizing the drive etc., and Crystal Disk Mark shows it approaching 10Gbps, while the Orico & Sabrent housings slightly surpass it.

I bought this one last week, but it's a bit bulky. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNJZ8...asin_title

Got one last deal, at this price if you need one it's a no brainer. Quality is good, with a convenient articulated door. Yes, it's slightly bulkier.

I got in for one of these and it was exactly what I expected. Rather cheaply made, but mostly functional. It would not recognize my airtec NVMe, even after I did a firmware update, but I have several devices that don't recognize it or other cheap brands. I swapped it out with a Samsung 990 pro and it was recognized easily. So this is half the price of the sabrent which is about where it ought to be because the sabrent is far superior. I'm keeping it for convenience in case I ever want to clone two drives in external enclosures.
