So I had to post this since I think this is a great deal on groceries with a number of savings/bonuses.
So this is for ACME Market grocery stores - for me that's Eastern PA. I think they are big in the NE USA.
So I wanted to buy Corned Beef for St. Patty's and they have a clipable coupon for $1.99/lb. I then stumbled upon a home delivery deal. Sign up for FreshPass delivery service (7 day free trial - saves on delivery fee) plus an additional $30 off $75.
So my bill looks like this:
Total $136.85
Sale price savings -$40.88
U Savings (For just being a ACME card member) -$13
SAVE30 -$30
Tax $0 (I love PA)
Delivery Fee $0
Bag fee - $0.15 (okay they got me - this is a local thing)
Driver Tip $7
Total out the door $60.12.
I mean I think this is awesome for food bill. I bought my St. Patty Meal (2 Corned Beefs - red potatoes - cabage - carrots) plus salid fixings + dressing - 3 lbs gorund beef - 3lb russets - 2XDigono pizzas - chips/salsa.
Just sharing for those that might be interested

My experience for this order:
- So Acme sends you notifications of the order/pick process. If something is missing, they will notify you and then at times offer you a substitute. You can chat with the picker via app which is cool. I accepted some substitutes and rejected others. One thing I do not know is how this impacts the offers - or what happens when one item costs more than the out-of-stock item. I ended up close to where I expected.
- Once picked they even show the driver's location and progress along the map. Pretty cool - kind of like Uber.
So would I do this again - no. I'm not a big fan for these home delivery options. I will order and do the pickup at location for a couple of stores around me - this deal was only for home delivery.Leave a Comment
