FYI:
It features 8GB of DDR4 RAM soldered to the motherboard and includes one empty DDR4 SO-DIMM slot. You can add a 16GB or 32GB module to the empty slot, allowing for a total memory capacity of up to 40GB.

What kind of issues? I just bought it since I needed a beater laptop for certain tasks my MacBook couldn't do. I have some spare nvme and ram sitting around that will bump it up quite nicely. Will probably run Linux on it. Praying it will play nice with it.

refurb thinkpads would be better choice as beater imo.
