I researched these types of docks recently. It's great to see so many ports it offers so that's cool but here's something worth noting: if you plan to put an nvme in this device and speed is not important to you, then this would be ok as it maxes out at 10Gbps. The Thunderbolt port in back of M4 provides speeds of 40 Gbps and if you have a M4Pro, which has Thunderbolt 5, you will get an 80Gbps. To get those faster speeds, you will need to use a Thunderbolt enclosure whether it's for TB4 or TB5. The TB5 is particularly expensive but it is certainly available.
Hopefully this will help for those need the faster speeds. If you are doing light weight backups of your photos or documents on this device's internal nvme, the 10Gbps would be sufficient.
