Two reviews on Amazon's page state that it worked with their Greenworks 80V batteries.
One review notes the AC adapter is not included and I wouldn't expect it to be.
Edit: it has arrived and works well with an 80v battery without modification. I am also full of shit and it has a built in AC adapter w prongs on the back.
Shows up $35 in my app but my cart shows $90. When I paste the URL into my browser it shows up as $90

Received mine yesterday. While the outer Amazon box was practically in mint condition, the product box was beat up bad. Not just a simple dinged corner or two, but the product box was ripped apart in several large places and taped back together (over 50% of it is covered in tape). Definitely not something anyone would want to present as a gift. Fortunately Amazon is sending a replacement after chatting with customer service. While the item inside might just be fine, not worth chancing it based on the abysmal appearance.
I bought two and I can confirm the 80V battery work on the 82V light. This is the only 82V tool that I know of will accept the 80V battery.
