I use it in a tri-monitor desktop and it works great. Laptop should be fine too...assuming your USB-C port supports it, you should be able to connect it and power go through that cable too.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have the tri-monitor setup for my desktop too. Like it. Just feel a bit curious about the same setup in a laptop setting.
No, I was replying to someone that said you can get a similar specced Acer portable monitor for about $45 at ebay. The Acer I linked to on Amazon was the same model as they linked to on eBay
