This is a good price, not as low as it has been but who knows if it will ever get that low again. The cloud sheets certainly are not necessary, but they do a better job of distributing the air across the whole bed and you'll get less hot/cold spots. If you are on the fence about getting the sheets, I'd wait to buy them when they go on sale.
I genuinely thought I would never be someone that liked heat when I sleep, but in the middle of winter it's really nice in a cold room and is like a warm breeze blowing over you. I wouldn't consider this something I could never live without (I'd never travel with one) but it is a very luxurious upgrade.
About Bedjet as a company, I did mess up my first order of the cloud sheets and realized it immediately after opening them (bought the dual system instead of the single). They were really quick to respond and made the exchange very easy.
Also, day to day I use the remote, but when I program biorhythm settings (turn heat on to X% for Y time every X minutes) I use the app.

Anyone know if its worth upgrading over a previous generation one? I'm guessing not.
