There's a reason why the Amazon star rating on these are relatively low compared to other Wyze cams, for some reason this model has major connectivity issues for many users. And it has nothing to do with the fact that they're more portable and are typically used further away then wired cameras. I even tried using mine sitting literally right next to my wireless router and it would still disconnect constantly, while I had zero connection issues with almost a dozen other Wyze cams on the same router. Tons of online reviews describe similar experiences from other users, and I wasn't smart enough to heed them. Fortunately Wyze refunded the entire purchase price after none of the troubleshooting suggestions from their customer service were effective in maintaining a stable connection.
You might get lucky, but I suggest staying far away from this model unless they release a new, more reliable version.
