Do a quick Google search to decide if this is safe. My low knowledge/experience has been any head covering between your body and the safety helmet is detrimental. Most are designed to grip/sit on your head with direct contact.
YMMV/decide for yourself.

You need the helmet to slip upon impact. That is the goal of the MIPS system.

I use one of these, diff. brand, under my snow sport helmet on colder and stormy/windy days and a thinner version on warmer days so I have something to soak up the sweat so I don't have to wash my helmet liner so often.
