Keep in mind it's still the 2018 model release with the oiler that leaks when stored.

I cut down a 50 foot hickory tree with this. You will need at least 2 of the 12 amp batteries.
It does leak oil when not in use, do some research on which position to store it to prevent or reduce leaks.

That would have been nice to know. I have the other model and the pole saw and they are both leaking like crazy in storage

That's the story with every chainsaw. The oil is from the chain oil reservoir. They are made to dispense oil as you run the saw and they don't seal (on purpose). You should empty the oil out when not in use. And yes, they make chain and bar oil which is generally more expensive than just a quart of cheap motor oil. I've used a lot of old motor oil that my dad bought and stored and when he passed I had no use for it other than to use it as bar and chain oil. I spoke with a lot of arborists who told me they have no issues with motor oil, as long as it's new, not used.

bar and chain oil has tackifiers so it doesn't sling off.

And…the oiler also clogs easily and burns up chains and bars due to lack of lubricant.

It will cut down most trees 12-13" diameter. If the tree is bigger I would get a bigger saw.
