Not on sale, but I instead just purchased this similar 150w Ryobi inverter for $59 (tool only) because it is a "pure sine wave" inverter so it's safer to use with electronics (laptop etc).

Thanks! I saw that one advertised weeks ago and I've been waiting for it to become available. It looks like they also sell a 2-pack of them for twice the price! What a deal!

Actually that's just marketing. Pure sine wave is best for inductive loads like motors and some fluorescent ballasts. Switching power supplies used for laptops and phones are fine with (modified) square wave and could even take straight DC in many cases (that's step 1 of the internal switching path anyway).

This charger isn't the one that can be used with a solar panel to charge your batteries… that model has usb c ports right?

Good deal....but ugly (Ryobi) color!
Just to confirm, the $65 price isn't available at all HD stores. Unfortunately, clearance prices at HD vary by region and even by stores within that region.
I'm seeing $99 at my local stores on the east coast (several of them).

Is their any advantage to using a power inverter if your vehicle is already equipped with an AC outlet? Would those supplied outlets be PSW (pure sine wave)? Thanks!

It likely was on clearance, but it may not have been $65 (my local stores are showing $99). It initially appears at full price ($129). You need to choose a store and you'll see the in-store clearance price pop-up. If it's ordered online, there's no discount.

I invested in the Ego since I have big batteries for it. It was the older model but very handy in storms.

Am I missing something?

I am seeing the 2-pack for $139.94, which is more than just ordering 2 of the inverters themselves ($59.97 x 2 = $119.94).

We frequently lose power whenever there's a light breeze so this is invaluable. I have the older model but a lamp with an led bulb will get me about 6 hours on a 4mah battery.

Came to say this. All the stores around me say $99 except one store. That store says clearance price and geuss what... that so called clearance price is also $99. 😳
