I bought the 6mp version of this for my Blue Iris setup and love it. I was able to move another camera thanks to the coverage.

Very much my scenario. Surprised to have two amcrest 4k 8mp cameras (bought around $80 each) die a week or so apart, both connected to Cisco poe switch with multiple surge protections, both covered under deep patios. My 6mp gray market dahuas on the same switch seem to be going strong, at least (bought around $50/each).

Can these be configured without installing the app? I just want to add this to my own Blue Iris NVR.

Yes, they have their own web management page. They can also have their firmware flashed to an OEM hikvision firmware

Substream doesn't list RTSP. Do you have this and do you know if it truly doesn't broadcast substream through rtsp?

GMKtec mini-PC M7 running Proxmox and a Ubuntuu VM running Frigate via Docker. Has Home Assistant HAOS VM, Minecraft servers, a d various other VMs. It took me 30 minutes to setup the VM, Docker, and Frigate recording to my NAS. I would recommend offloading the AI detection capabilities via passthrough to a GPU/iGPU or Coral if you have one.

Yes. Most RTSP cameras ha very the ability to configure via web after getting DHCP address. Reolink was the only one I tested that required an app to configure, but it didn't required me to create an account. If I didn't need tbe optical zoom (mailbox cam after repeated package theft), I'd probably have skipped Reolink entirely.

It's Hikvision OEM, so...

rtsp://USERNAMEStick Out TongueASSWORD@CAMERA_IP:554/Streaming/Channels/102

will get you the substrate for detection. 101 is the main 4k stream. If RTSP is enabled, both will work.
