It doesn't seem to contain lead. It does operate at 2.5 gpm which likely why California has a problem with it. Some people complain about the plastic connector and the fact you can't remove the water restriction (but you can just drill it).

It may be hard to remove but it is removable, I will do it as soon as I get it. Heck I purchased one Walmart brand in California and removed the restrictor easily. I have yet to go to jail for it.

Last showerhead I bought in CA came with 1.75 and 2.5 restrictors. You install the one you like 😂 https://a.co/d/0651KuHw I installed 1.75 because water is expensive in CA

I got one of these and removed the flow restrictor. At full pressure it's just too strong, like showering in a garden hose.

Anyone else get the wrong item? I just did my return b/c the model number didn't matchup, and the one sent has a hose which won't work for us. Inside the box was also a Lowes receipt so guess what I got a return. Deal is still active so ordered again.
