I have this one. Perfect portable monitor. I use it plugged into my phone and works very well. It will power the monitor from your phone, but at a reduced brightness. Power the monitor from the wall and you get full power plus charging your plugged in device. I WOULD suggest getting it from the Acer official ebay store. SAME unit, with a 2yr Allstate warranty.

I have this monitor. I use mine with my Pixel 9, which supports an external monitor. Combined with a foldable BT keyboard, I basically have a full fledged laptop using just my smartphone when needed for traveling, so I no longer have to lug my laptop with me.

I don't think the built-in stand can do portrait, but you could probably use something like this.

A bit less weight, and this is cheaper than a laptop so if it gets lost/stolen it's not as huge of a loss.

I was looking for those cool, LCD screens that are a few inches long to keep an eye on temps while gaming and such. This would actually end up being cheaper but it would take up the limited desk space I have.
